Rachel is a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for helping children reach their potential. She received her B.A. from The University of California, Santa Cruz, and her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL.  Rachel has experience in a variety of settings, including adult day rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, farm therapy, hippotherapy, early intervention and community-based settings. Rachel’s education and experience showcase her versatility as a pediatric occupational therapist and have equipped her to work with a range of conditions, including neurological conditions, developmental delays, sensory processing and trauma informed care. She believes in celebrating every achievement, no matter how small, and is committed to supporting children in their journey to learn and grow. 

Rachel is also passionate about making the profession more culturally inclusive, which reflects her commitment to diversity and equity in healthcare. By advocating for cultural inclusivity, she strives to create a welcoming and accessible environment for children and families from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys hobbies that contribute to her overall well-being. The activities that she finds joy and fulfillment in include traveling, crocheting, hiking, spending time with family/friends and biking. Her love for solo travel has taken her to 21 countries, highlighting her adventurous spirit and curiosity about the world.
