Iyla is a pediatric occupational therapist who has been working with children for the past 11 years. She is currently working at a therapeutic day school in Rolling Meadows, IL, as well as seeing her own private clients part time at Kids Unlimited Therapy Services. She works with children with a variety of disabilities. She specializes in working with children with behavior disorders, sensory processing disorders, and Autism. She uses a Sensory Integration and Client-Centered frame of reference.

Iyla graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a B.S. in occupational therapy. She has worked in the school and clinic settings. She began her career evaluating children to determine eligibility for early childhood services. Iyla then worked in the Oak Park school district for 3 years. She has been working since 2006 at a therapeutic day school. She has been working part time in private practice at Kids Unlimited Therapy Services for the same period of time. She has been trained in Therapeutic Listening, Wilbarger Therapressure Protocol, Interactive Metronome, The Astronaut Training Program, introduction to DIR therapy, Sensory Integration, Social Thinking, and  Structured Teaching.
