Kerry Peters
MOT, OTR/L
Kerry Peters is a licensed and registered occupational therapist (OTR/L) with a passion for serving families and their children. She has experience in both outpatient pediatrics as well as in the school system, serving students in the southwest Chicagoland area. She enjoyed fieldwork experiences in both outpatient and inpatient pediatrics throughout her graduate program at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa where she received her Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) in 2016. Kerry is a Chicago native and has a musical background, which she likes to incorporate into her practice. Whether it be fine motor skills or sensory processing difficulties, Kerry loves letting the child take the lead, trying out a variety of strategies, and getting creative to find the “just-right” solution. She has experience with a variety of diagnoses and loves to help children use self-regulation strategies to adequately access their learning and natural environments.
